...Today's All You've Got
One thing that should never elude our consciousness is the gift of 'today'. You see, whatever you could do, whatever you could be or have; wherever you could get; you can today.
Many people live in the shadows or ashes of their past. They've had a failed relationship, a folded business, or a foiled plan, and this has made them to conclude on life. Many won't even dare anymore because they can't see any prospects of success. You're doing yourself a lot of disservice if you live life this way.
Some are so confident of the future that they do nothing today. They paint a picture of how great tomorrow will be, make all the confessions till they run into confusion, doing nothing.
Dear friend, today is a gift from God. Accept it. Speak to your soul to arise out of doubt, depression or dejection. Look up to the Creator and thank Him for this awesome gift. Commit your ways and work to His hands and trust Him for success.
Declare like David: "this is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it." - Psalm 118:24
Arise. Take charge of today.
