Of this world, ye are light

Says the Father and Source of all light

For to shine forth clear and bright

Chasing away the darkness with your light

At one point, your purpose do you realize

With pen and paper your future do you visualize

Painstakingly and patiently do you organize

And courageously your future do you seek to actualize

But before you may come this great obstacle

It may seem to have pushed you to a corner in a cubicle

You seek the help of family, friend, aunt and uncle

And then turn ye to God only for a miracle

I encourage you today never to despair

Even if your vision pressures seem to impair

You must always accept that life is fair

And your disposition determines how you’d fare

To win in life, we must fight

To go far, we must remove speckles from our sight

To get to the peak, we must deploy all our might

To finish well, we must trust in God’s guiding light

Friend, precious are you in God’s sight

Men may jeer you and treat you slight

In your ultimate success is God’s delight

If you faint not, you’d soon become the world’s delight

And I believe in you, so get up now and shine your bright light
